3 15oz cans black or refried beans, drained and rinsed.

1 16oz can diced tomatoes

1 15 oz can pumpkin puree

4 cups broth (chicken, beef, or vegetable)

1 cup onions, diced

1/4 cup olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp. cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

Puree one can of black beans with the can of tomatoes (optional).

Sautee the onions, garlic and cumin until onions are translucent. Add in the black beans, tomatoes, pumpkin and broth and mix well. Let simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
