The talented team of Natalie Schwartz, Kindness Café manager, and Briana Sherman, Kindness Café supervisor, are ensuring that all guests have food items that fit their dietary and health needs. They’re committed to providing nourishing, nutritious meals and making sure that customers who visit the café feel safe, comfortable, and welcome. They plan menus, order food, schedule volunteers and guest chefs, develop recipes, and ensure that everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

Kaelyn's Story
Kaelyn got the city-building, post-apocalyptic game RimWorld for her birthday. She likes it because it’s a creative survival game.
She says, laughing as she plays: “I kind of identify, I guess, after what I’ve been through.”
Kaelyn got housing eight months ago. She describes her new place, a microstudio, like a small, minimal hotel room. Though spartan, she is thrilled to be in her own home.
“I have Garrett (Garrett Dulaney, Client Advocate) and the Ballard Food Bank to thank for that.”
