Home Delivery

Our home delivery program is available for home-based clients who have difficulty leaving their home and have very limited access to other resources. Clients who choose to receive food through home delivery often have limited access to food and resources due to advanced aging, a medical condition, or a physical disability.

We highly encourage clients to visit the food bank to receive the most options. We understand that this is not always possible.

Home delivery bags are packed by our volunteers with nutritious fruits, vegetables, proteins, dairy, and other non-perishable items that we have available at the food bank during the week. We work with our clients as much as we are able to provide food based on their dietary needs and preferences. Our friendly volunteers make deliveries to client homes on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Interested in receiving groceries through home delivery? If you are a resident in our home delivery service area zip codes—98107, 98117, 98119, 98199—and are interested in being a recipient of our home delivery program, please call or email Jada Wittow, Food Access Coordinator at 206-789-7800 or jadaw@ballardfoodbank.org. Jada will work with you to schedule a delivery. If you are not in our area, please call the Community Information Line (2-1-1) and they will help you find a program in your area.
